Erwin Sigua is the real estate broker who head’s up Entrepreneur Real Estate and Sigua Enterprises. He began his career in real estate before he left university. His dad, Joe Sigua, a real estate agent himself (now retired), encouraged him to study for and obtain his real estate license, so he could begin earning a living while studying business and psychology at University of Nevada, Reno.
Erwin’s view of business and success stems from his childhood years spent in the Philippines, where he saw the difference between his uncle’s lifestyle, an accomplished and prosperous business person, and the financial struggles of his other relatives. At a young age, he understood the distinction between hustling to earn money and leveraging skills and wit to create an abundant cash flow.
For Erwin, success is more than financial well-being and a comfortable lifestyle for himself and his family. Prosperity and achievement are created in an environment where the agents on his team advance and grow, while his company flourishes with the team’s successes.
His strategy has built a financial enterprise that holds honesty and transparency in business as its guiding principles. Erwin’s mission for the companies he oversees and runs is to provide genuine help and honest answers to his clients, while implementing a flexible environment, where his team works for the mutual benefit of each other and the company.
A simple concept it may be, but he has implemented this strategy to a powerful effect. His team and customers are loyal to the company, often returning to Sigua Enterprises, even if they have tried other companies. The outstanding quality of service that he and his team provide is difficult to find elsewhere.
Aihla Sigua’s quiet composure and kind smile belies her personal faith and the strength of character--both of which saw her through a childhood steeped in hard work, some tough love, and a very strong sense of family. Her mother taught Aihla that hard work is only one part of success. Knowledge, persistence, and determination had to accompany hard work for business adventures to succeed.
During her childhood, business was the constant topic of conversation amongst her mother and aunts, who also consulted their father, her grandfather, about business decisions and solutions to problems. Competitive in nature, her aunts demonstrated how to be a close family while engaging in pushing each other to always do better.
Upon graduating university with a degree in economics, Aihla moved to Reno, Nevada. Her family and Erwin’s family were friends--that’s how the two met. Aihla had plans to be a banker, but after three years of working for Wells Fargo, she decided that maybe insurance was more her speed. She studied for her producer’s license in 2003 and began working with Farmers Insurance.
Erwin and Aihla worked diligently to build their business, but in 2008, during the Great Recession, they too took a severe hit. They learned quickly that good agents alone did not make a business. Together, the two of them raised their family, while Erwin began rebuilding Sigua Enterprises. The path they walked held many lessons. One of which was that it takes the right people to work in their business for it to be stable enough to survive the tidal waves of economic shifts.
Though Erwin takes the lead in the company, implementing, supporting, and training the team, it’s Aihla who supports Erwin’s efforts and thus the team’s, so together they all grow, prosper and withstand economic dystopia. Aihla shares with her team that multiple streams of income aren’t a luxury, they are a necessity. In providing many avenues to help people, an individual finds the means to serve people and remain stable financially and emotionally.
For her part, Aihla holds dual licenses as a mortgage loan officer and insurance broker. She shares her financial expertise with her clients, helping them to build a road to their own future that includes a home, a place to live out the bright days ahead.
Michelle is the welcome committee for clients and the team at Sigua Enterprises. She manages the books and the paperwork for multiple transactions for Entrepreneur Real Estate and Sigua Property Management. Erwin and Aihla both find her presence reassuring, since she’s been with the company for over ten years.
Michelle is also Mary’s transaction coordinator. She assists Mary with completing paperwork and making changes to documents, so the process of buying, selling, and managing property runs silky smooth for clients, vendors, and Mary.
As a highly talented and skilled member of the team, Michelle is known for her unparalleled ability to answer clients' and the agents' questions. It’s why she’s known as the “search engine” at Sigua Enterprises. She is an invaluable team player. The wealth of information Michelle has acquired over the years is why Erwin, Aihla, and Mary rely on Michelle’s savvy expertise to assist them in providing a seamless level of service to their clients.
